The Company's highly skilled mining teams have constructed tunnels ranging from segmentally lined pipejacks to timber supported headings.

We are currently on the select list for the Corporation of London to carry out such works. Ground conditions have varied widely from soft water bearing strata to hard igneous rock but professionalism, quality engineering expertise and the use of groundwater lowering stabilisation grouting has achieved much success.

Shaft Sinking
Clients have called upon Galldris's expertise to sink shafts for numerous uses including access requirements, pumping stations, hand dug piles, storage tanks, water-related structures and industrial installations within factories.

Segmental shafts up to 11m in diameter and up to 30m deep have been constructed by 'underbuilding' in good or stabilised ground and by 'caisson sinking' when poor ground requires the use of a cutting edge with either knowledge weights or hydraulic rams in the 'jacked down' method.

Additionally, both rectangular and circular shafts have been successfully constructed in sheet piling.
