The conversion of an aviation hangar unit into BA’s Global Learning Academy (GLA), a state of the art flight training facility centre housing 16nr flight simulator modules. Part of the hangar is to remain in-use during works so noise and disruption is to be kept at a minimum.
Operating within an existing building works include the installation of pre-cast concrete walls, the breaking out of existing hangar floor and replacement with isolated high-tolerance in-situ concrete floor with polished finish, and services installation and diversion.
