As part of St William’s ongoing partnership to regenerate former British Gas sites. Galldris carried out the remediation and subsequent construction of a 92 unit 6 storey concrete frame.
The frame was the first that Galldris have tackled for a few years and forms an integral pert of our strategy to re-enter this sector of the construction market.
St William as part of the Berkeley Group maintain the highest standards of safety and quality and due to our multidisciplinary background we were able to offer a unique groundworks and concrete frame option to maximise programme savings for this limited height development.
The first floor podium covers the whole footprint and is a constitutes a 650mm deep transfer slab together with 400mm deep slabs to support large Podium Garden areas. The construction is reinforced concrete cores and stability walls and reinforced concrete slabs.
