Herts Baseball Club was founded in 1996 as a community amateur sports club. The club has grown to become one of the largest baseball organisations in the United Kingdom. After. the huge success of the match between the Yankees and the Red Sox at the London Stadium in 2019 a decision was taken to develop a base in London.

Basing Hill Park, in North West London, was identified as a suitable venue. The park was in a state of disrepair. The ground was levelled and resurfaced with grass through crowdfunding.
Basing Hill Ballpark is close to our Brent Cross Town project, for which we are delivering the infrastructure framework in partnership with Related Argent for this prestigious £7 billion development in North London. The 180-acre mixed-use development will include 50 acres of parks and playing fields, 6,700 new homes for sale, rental, and affordable housing, and 3+ million square feet of new office space.

Galldris were happy to be approached and pleased to be able to support the next phase of the development by creating the playing field. We cut out clay areas around the bases and pitchers mound to exact measurements, creating a playable baseball field. We, at Galldris, recognise the importance of social value and supporting local projects that have a direct benefit to the communities we work in.
