Galldris Group are pleased to announce the launch of its new Training Academy.

The aim of the new Training Academy is to support people into employment and the generation of sustainable careers and opportunities through training, awareness-raising and qualifications.

First to benefit will be residents of the Barnet. Recruitment for a 3-week Pre-Apprenticeship Training programme course is now open for applicants.

The programme will be industry-led and delivered by The Skills Centre based in Canada Water.

This is a joint project between Galldris, Barnet Council, Brent Cross Town and The Skills Centre. Successful candidates will be interviewed for an apprenticeship on the Galldris Brent Cross Town project and will be made available to contractors working across the borough.

David Wake, Galldris Apprenticeship Manager said “This is a great opportunity for local residents to get industry-relevant training and qualifications that will lead to jobs and careers in the construction industry. We, at the Galldris Group, are proud to be working with the local authority, targeting those furthest from the labour market into employment”.

Cost: FREE

Age: 18+

Eligibility: Applicants need to be NEETS, unemployed, or earning less than £17,000 per annum.

EMPLOYER

Galldris Group is working across London on civil engineering, rail, and construction projects. Successful candidates are guaranteed interviews for available apprenticeships.
