International Women’s Day 2022

As an inclusive company, Galldris are committed to breaking the bias and always try to encourage more women into our industry and are dedicated to showing that construction has a vast range of opportunities for everybody.

Yesterday (March 8), being International Women’s Day, we had several exciting events planned to both celebrate the numerous women in our organisation and also to promote construction as a dynamic and creative industry for everyone.

We were proud to sponsor a major event at Saracens’ StoneX stadium in which Barnet Council launched their new Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Strategy.

Several Galldris team representatives were present for the launch including Rinku Patel (Head of HR) & David Wake (Apprenticeship Manager). The event also saw members of our Brent Cross Town Project team, Isa Ribeiro (Senior Project Manager) & Belul Mesfin (Graduate Construction Manager) speak passionately to a packed audience on the importance of Gender Equality and what each of us can do to help #BreakTheBias.

Well done Isa & Belul!

At our Head Office in Enfield, we celebrated the incredible women who continue to inspire us each day by hosting an afternoon tea.

This was a fantastic event in which our colleagues shared inspirational stories amongst themselves to help each other understand the paths that they have each taken to get where they are today.

A great way to celebrate International Women’s Day!
