Morgan Sindall September Safety Observation Award

Contractors on the Acton Depot job attended the Morgan Sindall monthly safety stand down briefing. Each Contractor is invited to carry out a relevant toolbox talk. Galldris carried out a toolbox talk on Excavation Works.

Our 360 excavator operative Ioan Avram was presented the Morgan Sindall ‘September Safety Observation Award’ and a £200 voucher.

Earlier this month Ioan received his daily permit to dig, upon review of the permit prior to the excavation he noticed the permit had the wrong date on it. Ioan informed his supervisor that the permit was invalid and did not start works until the correct permit was in place. He then raised the Intervention.

This award system is based upon all the positive intervention reporting system over all Morgan Sindall sites for the month of September.
