Galldris were delighted to participate as a supporting sponsor in the Suffolk Skills and Careers Festival at Trinity Park, Ipswich yesterday, where students had the chance to learn about the various career paths available in civil engineering and construction. Our attendance at this event provided visitors with a closer look at our work and our venture into the Suffolk region. We were thrilled to answer the students’ questions and share more about our company and the opportunities we offer.

With our local Ipswich office, this event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with local schools and promote the apprenticeship and graduate scheme options that Galldris offer.

It was great to see so many students, especially young girls, show an interest in the construction industry. As a company, we are passionate about inspiring the next generation of women in construction, and it was great to see such enthusiasm from the students.

Our stall even had a 360 mini excavator that allowed students to practice their skills and consider a possible career path on a smaller scale. This became a massive hit with the students, seeing them all crowded round the stall waiting to have a turn.
